On 30th April, 2025, at 11am, a meeting was held with the HODs of the various Departments of the College in the IQAC office, Sikkim Government College, Namchi, headed by the chair person of the college Dr. Deepak Tewari and Coordinator Dr. Laxmi Rai.

The main agenda behind the meeting was to discuss matters regarding the Departmental activities and the submission of required documents.

The agendas discussed in the meeting were:

  • To document and save all the report files in the hard drive, department wise.
  • To fill the AQAR by December along with the supporting documents that the Departments must provide beforehand.
  • Attendance for each program must be submitted by all the departments.
  • A Google form for the feedback has been generated and the HODs must ensure that it is shared.
  • A report on the feedback of the programs under the banner of IQAC should also be submitted on time.
  • One best practice must be identified from each Department.
  • The Departments must inform the IQAC in case of any requirement for funding.
  • To focus on faculty exchange from other institutions.
  • Each department must nominate 9 students for the upcoming TRAI program that will be held on 22nd May, 2025 in the College Auditorium. The names should be submitted by the 10th of May, 2025 in the HOD whatsapp group.
  • The Roadmap with activities will be shortly released which the respective departments are requested to follow.
  • A meeting with the HODs will be held in the IQAC office after every two months to track the progression.
  • A common form for the submission of slow and fast learners, students feedback and faculty feedback will be submitted to the respective Departments to ensure uniformity. Each department is requested to adhere to the common format.
  • The IQAC will underline certain aspects which may not have been discussed in the house as the work progresses.

The documents which have to be submitted to the IQAC (soft copies – rainissiel@gmail.com) from February 2025 onwards can be summed up as under:

  1. Minutes of Departmental meeting
  2. Reports of departmental activities, awareness programs, etc.
  3. Best practices
  4. Faculty profiles
  5. Enrolment of students in I,II and III year
  6. Performance record of slow and fast learners (VI semester)
  7. Student feedback (on courses and teaching) VI semester
  8. Faculty feedback on departmental activities
  9. Research activities viz Research papers, articles, books, etc.
  10. Resource if any
  11. Departmental calendar
